Having been 'persuaded' to help organise a reunion for all former KGS pupils and staff I have spent the morning setting up the electronic bits and pieces. So if you are a former KGS pupil or teacher (or both!) then please visit www.kgsreunion2009.wordpress.com

The event itself will take place on the 31st of October and will be part of, what we hope will be, a weekend of Homecoming events for Keith. On the Friday night Keith Primary School are having a family ceilidh. On the Saturday we will have our reunion and there is also an event called Battle o the Brig to look forward to. (This is a Young Roots Lottery funded project involving a number of young people from the town putting on a visual arts/theatre event.) On the Saturday evening we hope there will be a further opportunity for reuniting at a licensed dance in KGS. Then on the Sunday evening, it is hoped the Keith & District Silver Band will perform in KGS. Phew! A busy weekend!!
The reunion will take the form of an informal gathering with teas/coffees etc. A display of memorabilia from each of the decades is being put together. And we hope to have some local groups providing entertainment.
