Endings and beginnings

Its the night before Hogmanay and I am looking forward to welcoming in the New Year. 2009 promises to be yet another life changing year in my life. It will see the completion of my probationary period and with that open up a whole world of opportunity. It will also see the completion of the the project Neil has been working on for the last two years. This too will bring big changes - we do not know yet what is next for Neil. One possibility may mean him living away for parts of each week - we have been there before but not for a while. KD will finish school - exam results will have a big say in where/what she ends up doing. She will also be heading off to Peru in June for a life changing expedition. Andy will hopefully trundle on through his highers and carry on growing vertically - 6 foot and counting...

So you can see why 2009 will be a life changing.

Change is difficult. I visited a lovely lady today who is struggling with change. Her life has been turned upsides down and she doesn't know how to cope. What she knew as her life just doesnt exist anymore. Her routines will have to change, she will have to do so much on her own, find her own way. Her life partner and constant companion no longer there.

My prayer for this lovely lady is that she finds her way and can see a life for herself. She has so much to offer.
